As a cowboy fan, it was tough to watch Phily take the title; Be presented with the trophy by a Washington Redskin, and then NYG teammates have one of the better commercials with their touchdown celebration.

Congrats Eagles. Applause

The fact that the Patriots lost lessened the sting.

Phooey

I didn't watch it in keeping with my personal boycott of all things NFL.

When they starting standing again for the National Anthem and stop all of the social justice warrior nonsense, I will start watching again. I don't watch sports for a lesson in politics, I watch for entertainment. Demonstrations are not entertainment.

The NFL can pound sand as far as I'm concerned.

I finally decided to watch it. Nobody kneeled during the Anthem. In fact, both Philly and New England players had stopped all protests before the playoffs began. At least, that's how I understood it.

You'll be able to get upset again when you see players protesting the trip to the White House to see Trump!

It was noted over the weekend that the Eagles were one of only a handful of teams that did NOT kneel or sit for the anthem all season, but that one of their captains did have a raised fist for at least one game.

Also noted was that the Eagles were one of the most spiritual & faith-based teams in the league, starting with their head coach and both QB's.

In the interest of full disclosure--as if someone over here cared--I am happy to see the info posted by CL immediately above...however, I too have been boycotting the NFL, the playoffs and the Super Bowl feeling much the same as Rover stated above.

It has been hard to quit cold turkey, but I feel this is an important issue for America (my opinion) and I can't reasonably separate what they do (provide entertainment) from what they are doing.

Again, just my opinion...others are equally welcomed to theirs Gig 'em

Hopefully this will pass in time Pray

PERHAPS that is because like so many classes before us over the years we knew so many Aggies--very close friends--who were Viet Nam bound shortly after graduation--following a short officer basic class somewhere in this country we love...

...and to add emphasis to those feelings--we are still in the last several years--recovering their bodies and returning them to this country for burial with full military honors decades after their supreme sacrifices...

Just a thought about why it may mean so much to so many Think

As a matter of fact I believe that it was the remains of a Class of '68 grad by the name of Marvin Arthington (Squadron 4) that just became the most recently identified and returned for burial with full military honors.

Rest in Peace (finally) Marvin... Pray Pray Pray

The classes of the 60s lost a lot of great guys in Vietnam Nam. If I’m not mistaken 66,67 and 68 had 13 or more in each class. All were fantastic guys. No telling how many of our classmates are still in pain from physical and emotional injuries suffered during that period. My respect and admiration goes to all of you.

Add the class of 69 to that Group. My fish old lady perished several years ago from AGENT ORANGE. I still get letters from his wife.
