I generally DVR more games than I will ever actually get watched (and then pick from the ones that actually pan out). For this week, I've got...

Ags/anybody

SMU/TCU - given what TCU did to pig this looks like a good opportunity to see what a Chad Morris coached team looks like.

Fla/Tenn - early SEC-E showdown

USC/tu - Who doesn't like to see tu get destroyed?

Clemson/Louisville - This one should be entertaining.

Fla-St/miami not my cup of tea...(when I went to record this one turns out it is actually postponed)

What's on your radar for this weekend?

Baylor duke. A game between a school where they disbanded and demonized an innocent team because a woman falsely accused the team of raping her and a school who demonized and ruined the lives of several woman who were raped by their team and the school lied about it.

all SEC games and Clemson vs. Louisville.

Interested in UK vs USC. Still don't think USC is as good as the hype. We will see soon enough at Kyle Field.

Not sure about that, but SDSU is now ranked. Wink

Week 4

(not as good a line-up as week 3)

Ags v pig

miss-st v georgia (is miss-st real?)

s-car v la-tech (look ahead)

tcu v okie-st (want a look at mason rudolph)

vandy v bama (on the off chance vandy makes it a game)

What else is on your radar?

I agree with your lineup, especially the MS-Georgia game. I'm also curious about

Purdue-Mich - Purdue is playing ball but probably doesn't have the athletes

USC-Cal - Same as above. CAL will have to play lights out and get a couple TO's.

Fla-Kentucky - I don't think Florida has that much except on D. Not sure if this is in the swamp. If not, I like Kentucky's chances

That's silly. They shouldn't be...not now at least.

Although they will probably win all their remaining games though (toughest remaining game is at Air Force this weekend).

If the Aztecs go 11-0, then I will concur that they should be ranked. Gig 'em

Maybe...but it certainly isn't worse than USF being ranked above them....talk about not playing ANYone.....

What's on my radar?

Any game that Clemson plays in against any opponent. I just love what they are doing with the spread with all of the Dan Devine misdirection and Charlie Caldwell line blocking.

Who beats CFX this weekend?

Mason Rudolph and OSU are what all college teams should be doing...going vertical early and often. Love to go five wides with a four vertical and a post underneath...force them into man coverage and make a LB run with a slot receiver.

Didn't USF hire a Saben-like HC this year that had been struggling as he tried to bring a middling school from a minor conference somewhere near the middle of the country to a near .500 record?

Although he didn't have enough time to deliver that .500 record at that school, he expects now that he has moved up to a school of USF's caliber it should happen quickly and he should be able to keep them very competitive year after year.

Don't remember his name...but he unexpectedly became available last year and was immediately hired to get USF to at least a MNC this year...

They finished 11-3 and ranked 25th last year. They are 3-0 and have the nation's leading running back. Definitely worthy of their ranking.

I am looking forward to Stanford - UCLA, a bounce back by Stanford to continue the 'ruins downward slide.

CM,
What are your thoughts on USC vs Cal? For some reason, that game intrigues me, maybe because Cal beat (a wounded) Ole Miss AND because the Longhorns went the distance and then some with your Trojans.

Cardinal (&Gold, 'SC), Cardinal (Stanford) and Maroon (A&M). I put off adulthood as long as I could. Cool

Well, you saw that Strong was at least good at recruiting defensive players. For whatever reason, 'SC didn't attack the middle of the field until the last drive. That allowed tu to stack the box and stuff the run. 'SC suffered some big injury losses including its two best defensive players and best offensive lineman.

Cal is one of those teams that always has alot of good talent. Based on players going into the NFL, you can argue that Cal is one of the most underperforming programs in the country. That being said, they don't have the front seven that tu has. 'SC's line is not that big, but it is very athletic and very skilled. Against Cal, I think they will be able to open the run lanes for Jones/Carr. That should also allow Darnold to really go after their DBs.

Defensively, the back ups showed against tu that there isn't that much drop off. Cal doesn't have any 6'6" WRs, which was the only thing that hurt 'SC.
