Rumors abound about multiple suspensions for our Bball team. Looking like multiple starters not playing, beginning with tomorrow's exhibition against tarleton state. Anybody have some info?

Robert Williams for 3 games, Hogg and Gilder for 1. The Tarleton scrimmage tonite counts as their one. Violation of University Policy.

JJ Caldwell may miss like 3 or 4 games to start the season.

Let's hope the upside is experience that will pay off later in the season for the players getting their minutes.

It could be worse....

Quote:
Three UCLA men's basketball players -- including LiAngelo Ball, the younger brother of Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball -- were released on bail early Wednesday morning in Hangzhou, China, after being arrested for allegedly shoplifting Tuesday afternoon, a source told ESPN.

The three players, a group that also includes freshmen Cody Riley and Jalen Hill, were questioned about allegedly stealing sunglasses from a Louis Vuitton store next to the team's hotel in Hangzhou, where the Bruins had been staying before leaving for Shanghai on Wednesday.

they already have the money from lava rock helping out. They get bailed and are living in a 5 star hotel. I would imagine ball bribes his way out of this and they get a slap on the wrist for their crimes.

Edit: the iPad changed lavar ball to lava rock. Go figure.

we shall see. I don't know what they were thinking stealing in China. Idiots. I know if I did that I would end up serving time. I just don't have faith entitled kids will get the same treatment. Money talks. I would love seeing them held responsible for their idiocy. Just don't think it will happen. And yes, they will claim to be victims in some way.

Appears they will be on their way home today. Pay a fine and receive a slap on the wrist.

no matter your political persuasion, if your child is facing Chinese prison, you hope the u.s. President will help. But yeah, I get your point. Then again, ball is big into negotiating the best deal he can for his brand, so maybe he can empathize with president trump. Who knows.

Some people (read liberals and progressives) are fond of large central governments that like to use their clubs on their own citizens.

Well ball just took his son out of school. When asked what ucla officials said, ball replied, I didn't tell them. Why should I tell them, they didn't tell me anything.

Ball is a complete lunatic.

If you think Ball is salty now, just wait until LiShoplifter goes undrafted next June. Laughing

Saw where he said the focus is to get him ready for the draft, no one's going to draft that kid. Best start looking overseas (and somewhere with generous and understanding laws around shoplifting and other mischief).
