Just saw it. To Syracuse to play for his dad and father in law. Good luck koda. He would’ve been a big asset at OL this year.

Hurts in the short term to lose him but someone else will have to step into his practice and any game reps...and they'll probably be younger with a few yrs left

Cooler temps at Syracuse is probably a good thing for his health

You may have a salient point about that, jamey. Particularly after his harrowing episode a few weeks ago.

FIL (Dino Babers) is head coach there. Koda's Dad just joined their staff as well.

Makes a lot of sense on that front.

The only surprise to me is that it didn't happen earlier ... so that he could have gone through spring practice there.

Perhaps the heat stroke provided more clarity and a stronger sense of urgency to ponder and choose the course of action he ultimately selected.

Regardless: the young man is one of the most outstanding, high character student-athletes I've ever met.

Wishing him much success at Syracuse ... and in the chapters of his and Jasmine's lives that will follow him thereafter.

Best of luck to Koda. I actually expected a number of transfers. Let us see how it plays out.

Probably didn't head there this spring so he could finish his degree in May.
